Using your ring finger, apply the tiniest amount gently around the eye area. Take care not to drag the skin while tapping in the cream. For best results, use morning and night for a minimum of 3 weeks. For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Should this occur, rinse immediately with water. Due to natural ingredients, colour may vary. Not for use on skin conditions. Always patch test prior to use. Stop use immediately should skin experience any discomfort, peeling or itching. We suggest building up Retinol use. Use every third day for a week, then alternate days before moving to daily use. When using Retinol products, always apply a daily sunscreen with an SPF of at least 25.

WILL THIS PRODUCT SUIT MY SKIN TYPE?
The Retinol+ collection has been specifically formulated for mature skin with deeper wrinkles which is beginning to lack elasticity. It’s considered a ‘hardcore’ treatment regime to resurface the skin and boost radiance.
WHAT IS RETINOL?
Retinol is a type of Vitamin A, which has a number of benefits for your body, including: good vision, the maintenance of a healthy immune system and the promotion of cell growth. It is also advised as a treatment for acne and ageing skin due to its exfoliating properties.
WHY IS RETINOL GOOD FOR MY SKIN?
Sometimes skin needs a little help to look its best. Retinol speeds up cell turnover which means that it facilitates skin renewal. It helps to rejuvenate the skin and leaves it firmer and smoother.
You can find out more about the benefits of Retinol based skincare here.
IS THERE A DOWNSIDE?
Boosting the cell turnover for a longer period can make your skin become thinner and irritated as the cells at the surface are younger and more vulnerable.
Therefore, we recommend using Retinol as a treatment for a period of 6-8 weeks a couple of times per year to get the best results.
Retinol also leaves your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so you have to protect it more. There would be no point in getting the anti-ageing benefits of a Retinol product, only to have them undone by sun damage. Ideally, go for a sunblock or for minimum SPF 25 as a daily protector, even if it’s not sunny, and avoid sun exposure.
